Boeing B-17G whose left wing fell off over Stendal, Germany, April 8, 1945. Named Wee Willie by its crew, it was hit by anti-aircraft fire at 20, 000, was burning and entered into a vertical dive, when at 5, 000 feet it lost a wing. At 3000 feet it exploded. Pilot Robert E. Fuller was blown out of the plane and survived, but the rest of the crew was lost. World War 2 (BSLOC_2015_13_90)
