Bomb wrecked remains of car of Jackson County Solicitor, Floyd Hord, who was killed. Jefferson, Georgia, Aug. 7, 1967. The killers were group of bootleggers, upset by the seizure of $20, 000 worth of illicit booze in A.C. Cliff Park's warehouse. Park and three others paid $5, 000 to the murderer, and were later arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned. (CSU_2015_9_882)
