Boston Massacre, 1875, published in 1875 by Heppenheimer and Maurer, lithographers. On March 5, 1770, mob attacked a British sentry in Boston. Capt. Thomas Prestons men were harassed when they arrived on the scene. Soldiers fired into the crowd, killing three people on the scene, with two later dying from their wounds
