Charles Stratton General Tom Thumb with his wife of 20 years, Lavinia Warren, ca. 1880-1883. The couple married in 1863 and performed until retiring in 1872. Less than ten years later, in 1881, they came out of retirement, resuming performances with Barnums company, until Thumbs death in 1883. In 1884 Lavinia began working with another company where she met her second husband, Italian little person, Baron Primo Magri
