Chief Running Water claimed to be the original model for the Indianhead nickel, Feb. 1971. His Christian name was George Squires, of Morris Plains, New Jersey. He also claimed to be 111 years old and was 16 years old when his father, the famed Sitting Bull, battled Custer's 7th Cavalry. (CSU_2015_9_919)
