Chinese litter patients are carried from a C-54 in Taiwan following their flight from Korea. The former Chinese POWs chose not to return to mainland China. They were released through the U.N. Neutral Nations Repatriation Commission that held non-repatriates, for 90 days to consider their choice of nationality. Jan. 1954. (BSLOC_2014_11_185)
