Dave Beck, outgoing President of the Teamsters
Dave Beck, outgoing President of the Teamsters Union, at Miami Beach convention, Sept. 30, 1957. He had invoking his right against self-incrimination 117 times before a United States Senate committee investigating labor racketeering earlier in the 1957. Mr. Beck was convicted in 1959 of Federal income-tax evasion and served 30 months in prison. He won a full pardon in 1975 from President Gerald Ford. (BSLOC_2014_13_246)
