Defense Attorney William Kunstler and Rev. Ralph Abernathy at end of the Chicago Seven trial. Kunstler charged U.S. District Court Judge Julius Hoffman had presided over a legal lynching. Five of the seven defendants, Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, were sentenced to five years in prison. In 1972, all of the convictions were reversed due to the bias Judge Julius Hoffman. (CSU_2015_9_1113)
