Dr. Carl Anderson, received the 1931 Nobel Prize

Dr. Carl Anderson, received the 1931 Nobel Prize in Physics from King Gustav of Sweden. Dec. 25, 1936. He won for the discovery of the positron, a positively-charged electron, the first identified antiparticle. He shared the prize with Austrian physicist Victor Franz Hess, who won for the discovery of cosmic radiation. (CSU_2015_11_1195)
