Dredges and cleaning up after one of the frequent landslides in the Culebra Cut, c. 1912-1914. When the Panama Canal was completed, the Culebra Cut ran 8.75 miles through the Continental Divide, reducing its maximum height of 333 ft. above sea level to 40 feet at the bottom of the canal channel
