Duryees Zouaves, attend Adjutant General Regimental Mess, Fort Schuyler, New York City, on May 18, 1861. The seated officers wear the standard Union frock coat uniforms, some with full cut trousers. The volunteer infantry regiment was led by Colonel Abram Duryee during the US Civil War. At the Second Battle of Bull Run, they suffered 330 casualties with 120 deaths in eight minutes
