Edward Beale Mclean, son of The Washington Post owner, John R. Mclean, ca. 1920. After John's 1916 death, The Washington Post was put in a trust to prevent Edward from taking ownership. Edward challenged the trust and gained control of the Post'. Under his ownership the Post went bankrupt and was sold to Eugene Meyer in 1933. (BSLOC_2013_9_224)
