English prisoners of war in Waterval camp, held in South African Republic (Transvaal), 1899-1900. These men were captured in Ladysmith, during the Afrikaners victories in the first six months of the Boer War, 1899-1902. They named the space between their barracks, Ladysmith Street (BSLOC_2017_20_53)
