Father Divine sitting in a jail cell, April 21, 1937. Harry Green was stabbed when a Peace Mission Movement meeting in NYC turned violent when two men tried to deliver a summons to Divine. Divine fled to his Milton, Connecticut, but was discovered and agree to return to NYC. In 1938, Father Divine was cleared of criminal charges. - (CSU_2015_5_70)
