Figures at a Press, by Jan van de Velde and Petrus Scriverius, 1628, Dutch print, etching on paper. The purported invention of the printing press by Laurens Coster in Haarlem, ca. 1440. He is regarded by some in the Netherlands as having invented printing before Gutenberg. The claim is weak because there are no known works printed by Laurens (BSLOC_2016_3_205)
