Frank H. Watson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, invented
Frank H. Watson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, invented a revolutionary cotton gin. Dec. 21, 1937. It whirls the cotton in a revolving drum as it extracts the its seeds by centrifugation force. Ordinary ginning alters the original fiber length, while this machine leaves the fiber untorn and adds value to the ginned cotton. (CSU_2015_11_1410)
