Granada War Relocation Center, the official name
Granada War Relocation Center, the official name of a internment camp for Japanese Americans. During World War 2, the Colorado barracks was surrounded by barbed-wire fencing, with eight often unoccupied machine-gun towers. The facility held over 7000 inmates. (BSLOC_2013_11_169)
