Harry Dexter White, testifying before the House

Harry Dexter White, testifying before the House Un-American Activities Committee, Aug. 13, 1948. He died of a Heart attack three days after this testimony, in which he denied passing secret information to USSR during World War 2. White was an economist and the senior American delegate at the 1944 Bretton Woods conference. Recently opened Soviet records indicate he did provide U.S. secrets to the Soviets during the WW2.
