Helen Wills Moody Roark and her dog Docky at her Los Angeles home in August 1958. She played her last Grand Slam match in 1938, winning her 8th Singles title at Wimbledon against Helen Jacobs. She then retired to live in California. She continued to paint and draw and played tennis for recreation until 1987, when she turned eighty-two. (CSU_2015_11_1591)
