Helena Rubenstein internationally famous cosmetics magnate in 1931. In 1928, she sold her American business to Lehman Brothers for $7.3 million, ($101 million in 2015). After the 1929 Stock Market Crash, she bought back the nearly worthless stock for less than $1 million. She then expanded her business with salons and outlets in major U.S. cities. (CSU_2015_11_1273)
