Henderick Peters Theyanoogin, King Hendrick
Henderick Peters Theyanoogin, King Hendrick, the great Mohawk sachem, wearing European style military uniform, holding a hatchet and wampum belt. Hendrick negotiated peace between the Six Nations and Great Britain at the Albany Conference of 1754. He was killed during the Battle of Lake George on September 8, 1755
