Henry Ford presents his Flying Flivver to the public on July 30, 1926. It was designed to be a mass-produced aircraft, and like the Model T, to make airplanes available to the larger public. Ford lost his enthusiasm after test pilot Harry Brooks died in a crash in Jan. 1928. Air Flivver development continued in the aviation division of Ford, but the final model, the P15, was never marketed
