Hiram Wesley Evans, Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, in 1926. He was part of a group that ousted Second Klan founder, William Joseph Simmons in 1922, and hoped to transform the KKK into a political force. He was unsuccessful and the Second Klan withered away as a national organization in the early 1930s. (BSLOC_2015_16_171)
