A house wrecked in the Johnstown Flood of May 31, 1889. The building lies on its side in a pile of rubble with a tree trunk extending through a window. The house belonged to one John Shultz, and all six people in the house survived. A bystander stands on ruins with the initials, P.R.R. those of the Pennsylvania Railroad (BSLOC_2017_17_77)
