Interior of the Church of St. Bavo, Haarlem, by Pieter Saenredam, 1636, Dutch painting, oil on panel. The old organ, which has a painted scene of the Resurrection of Christ. This is a remnant of the by-then long-abolished Catholic decoration. St. Bavo was consecrated as a Roman Catholic cathedral in 1559, but in 1578 it was converted to a Protestant church (BSLOC_2016_3_266)
