International Gun, Beijing foreign legation, China
The International Gun of Beijing's foreign legation, jerry-rigged to fire by a marine gunner. During the defence of the diplomatic community, the 1858 vintage gun was fired at Boxer Rebels and the Chinese Army, from early July until Mid-August, 1900. The 1963 movie, 55 DAYS AT PEKING, was based on the war (BSLOC_2017_20_14)
