Iva Toguri, in a Yokohama jail cell, Oct. 28, 1945. The Los Angeles born Toguri was held for making propaganda broadcasts to Allied forces on the Japanese Zero Hour programs. In 1946 she was released for lack of evidence. In 1948 she was rearrested, tried, and sentenced to prison in 1949. (CSU_2015_11_1699)
