Jacoba of Bavaria, Countess of Holland and Zeeland 1435, by Pieter Willem Sebes, 1879. Dutch painting, oil on panel. 19th century copy of the original. Her horn shaped headdress confined the hair on the sides of the head. She probably shaved her forehead and eyebrows (BSLOC_2016_2_70)
