Joshua Nkomo reading a Rhodesian criminal charge against him in April 1963. In 1962 Nkomo founded the Zimbabwe African People's Union (ZAPU). ZAPU's military wing, Zimbabwe People's Revolutionary Army, ZIPRA, was one of several groups that fought the racist Rhodesia regime until its fall in 1980. (CSU_2015_9_1166)
