King Peter of Serbia, riding in an oxen drawn buggy after Serbia's 1916 defeat by Central Powers. He joined his people in their retreat to the mountains of Albania. After the war, he became the first ruler of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (as Yugoslavia called before its renaming in 1929)
