The knockout blow in the Jack Dempsey-Jess Willard fight, July 4, 1919, in Toledo, Ohio. Fight promoter Tex Willard matched the virtually unknown 180 lb. Dempsey against the 300 lb. defending champion Willard. In the first round Dempsey knocked Willard down seven times. Willard conceded in the 4th round. (BSLOC_2015_17_54)
