Labor Leader Walter Reuther in hospital after an attempted assassination. His wife, May Reuther, was at his hospital bedside. April 21, 1948. He was in his kitchen when he turn towards his wife, and was hit in the arm instead of the chest and heart, by the blast of a 12 gauge shotgun. The crime was never solved. (CSU_2015_9_1040)
