Lenin in a wheelchair between Dec. 1922 and March 1923. Lenin had three debilitating strokes. He recovered from the first in May 1922. December 1922, he suffered the second stroke partially paralyzing his right side. The third in March 1923 left him was mute and bed-ridden until his death on Jan. 21, 1924. (CSU_2015_11_1689)
