The Graces in the Gardens of the Hesperides by Peter Paul Rubens, was stolen in the organized thefts of the Albert Rosenberg, a prominent Nazi racist intellectual. Photo shows the recovered painting in storage at Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria. U.S. Army Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives recovered over 6, 000 stolen items from this site. May 13, 1945.
