Louis Mbarick Fall, aka Battling Siki, Senegalese-born boxer (center) with Louis De Fremont and Charles Raymond. Siki defeated Georges Carpentier, World Light Heavyweight champion, in Paris Sept. 24, 1922. Around 1924 Siki moved to the U.S. but failed to defeat any top fighters. He was killed in an unsolved murder in NYC on Dec. 15, 1925. (BSLOC_2015_17_83)
