Luba Tryszynska, the Angel of Belsen, arriving in New York City in 1947. She lost her husband and son to Nazi death camps in Poland in 1943. In 1944, as a prisoner in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp she protected and sustained a group of 46 Dutch Jewish children, of whom 44 survived World War 2. (BSLOC_2014_10_175)
