They were among 24 veterans of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War previously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. After a review of service records of African America, Jewish and Hispanic soldiers the awards were upgraded the U.S. Military's highest award, the Congressional Medal of Honor. (BSLOC_2015_3_78)
