OPEC lifts oil embargo against the United States. Oil Ministers Belaid Abdessalam (Algeria) and Ahmed Zaki Yamani (Saudi Arabia) (with the moustache and beard) announce, through a spokesman (center) that six Arab nations have unconditionally lifted the five month oil embargo against the US.
