Otto Klemperer, German-born American conductor and composer, c. 1930. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1933 after Hitler took power to escape anti-Semitism and political persecution. His son was actor Werner Klemperer, known for his role as Colonel Wilhelm Klink on the CBS television sitcom HOGAN'S HEROS (BSLOC_2016_10_207)
