Paul Reveres print, A View of the Obelisk Erected Under Liberty-Tree in Boston on the Rejoicings for the Repeal of the Stamp Act, 1766. It reproduces the four sides of a paper structure, lit from inside by candles, which caught fire during Bostons celebration to the Stamp Act repeal. It celebrated the support colonists had received from British patriots such as William Pitt, and affirmed the Americans loyalty to Britain
