Portrait of Madame Brunet, by Edouard Manet, c.1861-63, French impressionist painting, oil on canvas. Madame Brunet, whose husband was Manet's friend, rejected the unpolished portrait. Manet cut off the bottom portion and showed it in his solo exhibition (BSLOC_2016_6_44)
