President Franklin Roosevelt at the dedication of a school for African Americans near Warm Springs, Georgia. The segregated school was named for the First Lady. It was the last school built with support from the Julius Rosenwald Fund, a charity that constructed over 5, 000 schools for African Americans from 1912-1936. March 19, 1937.
