Prison cell of Richard Loeb in Illinois Penitentiary at Statesville, Feb. 1, 1936. Richard Loeb, convicted with Nathan Leopold of the thrill murder of Bobby Franks in 1924, was killed in a fight with a cellmate on Jan. 28, 1936.
