RB-29 of the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron, somewhere over Korea. The reconnaissance version of the Superfortress bomber performed target and bomb-damage assessment photography. They also conducted electronic reconnaissance of enemy ground radar. Their daylight missions were dangerous as they were vulnerable the MiG jet fighters. Korean War, 1950-53. (BSLOC_2014_11_219)
