Robert La Follettes widow, Belle Case La Follette, works at THE PROGRESSIVE, her husbands political magazine, on Oct. 13, 1925. The Senator died four months earlier. She continued as the magazines editor, supporting Wisconsin Progressive Partys election of seven congressmen in 1934 and 1936. Her sons, Philip La Follette, was elected Wisconsin Governor, and Robert M. La Follette Jr. was elected to the US Senate
