Ruins of San Francisco City Hall after the April 18, 1906 earthquake and 3-day fire. In 1899, it was opened after a scandal about its 27 years of construction at a cost of $6 million. It was completely destroyed and replaced by a new building built at a different site (BSLOC_2017_17_26)
