S. Stanwood Menken
S. Stanwood Menken, as he appeared before Congressional Committee investigating Communists. July 18, 1930. In 1930 he advocated diplomatic Recognition of the Soviet Union. He founded the National Security League in Dec. 1914 which advocated high military budgets, universal conscription, and government regulation of the economy. (CSU_2015_11_1621)
