Samuel Irving Rosenman sworn in as New York State Supreme Court justice. March 24, 1932. At left is Governor Franklin Roosevelt for whom Rosenman wrote speeches and developed political strategies. Rosenman continued to advise President FDR and President Truman. Rosenman edited The Public Papers and Addresses of Franklin D. Roosevelt, published in 13 volumes from 1938 to 1950.
