The Serenade, by Judith Leyster, 1629, Dutch painting, oil on canvas. Leyster's was a successful woman painter influenced by Frans Hals. She was forgotten and then rediscovered in 1893 when a dealer reattributed this painting from Hals to Leyster (BSLOC_2016_3_55)
