Vicksburg Battlefield monument of Brigadier General Lloyd Tilghman. He was killed at Vicksburg, during the Battle of Champions Hill on May 16, 1863. Created by sculptor Frederick William Sievers in 1936, the monument was donated by the heros sons, Frederick B. and Sidell Tilghman
